Where there is no model
Existing lines have plans from four decades and rarely a model. Rehnitz had a drone flight carried out for the section; the results enter the chain of evidence with checksums, so that it can later be traced which version of the imagery was created when.
From the plans and records, Rehnitz’s technician captured the structures on the section — two culverts, one retaining wall, one abutment — in the browser as existing geometry. No substitute for detailed design, and Rehnitz claims nothing else. But a shared reference object to which findings, photos, and measurement series are attached, instead of to a folder structure. For handover to the operator, the environment derives plan extracts from it that anyone can open without owning a CAD program.
